Who can be on the Fall Performance Team?
Dancers who are in 7-12th grade at Rogers High School, Rogers Middle School, or Prairie View Elementary School are eligible to audition.
To be eligible for the Fall 2022 Performance Team you must be a current (21-22') 6th-11th grader attending RHS, RMS, or PVEMS.
What is the Fall Performance Team? Where do they perform?
The Rogers Fall Performance Team is a group of dancers that perform at halftime of some RHS home football games, homecoming pep-fest, and other community events or shows. Our season runs from mid-August thru mid-October.
How do I tryout?
Register by clicking the 'Join the Team' tab to learn more about try-outs.
How many dancers will be on the team?
There is no limit! The more the merrier! If you love to dance and are ready to work hard and have fun, we want to hear from you! Please register now to stay up to date with the latest information as it becomes available.
Is there a fee to participate?
There is an annual fee to participate. This fee covers the cost of coaches and an end of the season banquet/dinner for the dancers. Team apparel is also required and the cost will vary from season to season. We do, however, try to keep the cost as low as possible.
When does the Fall Performance Team practice?
We train 3-4 times per week at Rogers High School (Prairie View dancers are eligible to receive transportation to RHS after school). Our focus is preparing our performance routines while concentrating on proper technique, improving skills and stamina while having a great time!
Is this team the same as the "Rogers Dance Team"?
We are two independent groups of dancers representing Rogers High School. Many of our dancers participate in BOTH teams. The Rogers Royals Dance Team is a competitve, MSHSL sanctioned sport that begins mid-October and completes their season with a state tournament mid-February.
Each dance team at RHS has it's own coaches and are run during different seasons. The Fall Performance Team is non-competitive and is active during the fall athletic season and is a RHS activity and members must comply with the rules and regulations of Rogers High School.
