History

2003-2004

Winter 

Highlights:

- The Rogers Royals Dance Team is founded by coaches Megan (Solors) David and Micah Barlass, along with the help of many great dance parents. 

- The team performs during the winter season at various high school events.

2004-2005

Fall

Highlights:  The team experiences their first fall season performing at football games.

Winter

Highlights: The team's first competition season.  This year the RDT was part of the North Suburban Conference.

2005-2006

Fall

Highlights: Kelsie Granning joins Micah in the fall as a new coach.

Highlights:

- Kelsie takes over as head coach.

- The team competes for the first time in the Mississippi 8 Conference with a first place sweep at all three conference meets.

2006-2007

Fall

Highlights: Fall season is now completely separate from the winter season sport.

Winter

Highlights:  Allison Bolin takes over as head coach.  The team places 3rd in the Mississippi 8 Conference.

2007-2008

Highlights:

- Megan David returns as head coach and is joined by Assistant Coach Megan Johnson. 

- The team, once again, sweeps 1st place at all three Mississippi 8 Conference meets.

- RDT places 3rd in kick at Simley and 7th in both dances at Waconia.

2008-2009

Highlights:

- The team places 1st at the M8 Conference Jazz and Kick meets. 

- At the All-Conference meet they place 1st in Jazz and 2nd in Kick, resulting in an overall 1st in the conference. 

- The team also places 6th out of nine in kick and jazz at Totino Grace, and 7th out of 13 in jazz at Holy Angels.

2009-2010

Highlights:

- The Rogers Dance Team begins a junior varsity program.

- Tina Dechaine is welcomed as the JV coach.
